About Us

AMT INTER-TRANSLATION LTD

originates from AMT (Atelier de Maintenance Technique) which is a private initiative in the frame work of Small and Medium Enterprises created in 1997 in Kigali to initially provide maintenance services to computer systems, telecommunication and office automation in a period during which computer science was emerging in the daily management of enterprises and public administration.

developed since then and achieved growth through diversification  of its approach to the market, its activities and  services including sales of computers, office automation equipment, after-sale maintenance of the foregoing equipments, telephone exchanges etc.
This spirit of diversification triggered the creation of AMT INTER-TRANSLATION Ltd in 2007 as a branch with the mission of providing  simultaneous interpretation and translation  services to all sorts of gatherings including live conferences, training seminars, round tables, conventions, workshops etc. with support from competent, experienced  and professional interpreters in the three languages used in Rwanda ( English, French and Kinyarwanda).

AMT-INTERTRANSLATION currently functions as an autonomous firm and was detached from Atelier de Maintenance Technique early 2011, Nonetheless, to preserve all its customers, these initials AMT were maintained.
AMT INTER-TRANSLATION LTD owns   ultra-modern HIFI and Hitech equipments for simultaneous interpretation of conferences and all types of gatherings. The equipments function as a set and are movable (we may take them wherever our customers need to hold their meetings).

The equipments include a central unit, a transmitter, delegates` units, mobile microphones, interpretation booths, headphones, receivers, all of which are meant to make a conference enjoyable.
Our equipment may serve a meeting of up to 300 attendees maximum.

Our Service APPROACH !

We provide two types of service:
- Simultaneous interpretation
- Translation of documents in various areas ranging from development, medicine, health, law, environment, etc.

To be fully available and handle customers` demand, AMT INTER-TRANSLATION LTD has an internet connection in its office and three telephone numbers which are operational around the clock with permanent executive staff  in charge of communication and contacts with customers for planning the work whether events are organised in Kigali or in other provinces and even within the CEPGL and/or EAC regions.Join our office here!
When customers are having their events outside Kigali, AMT INTER-TRANSLATION Ltd should move the equipments, the interpreters and technicians to the venue at least one day ahead of the event to avoid omissions and to make sure that all sorts of last minute improvisation are avoided.
Interpreters are in charge of interpreting relieving each other during the conference while the technician  or conference assistant is concerned with doing and monitoring the installation, setting the sound to desirable levels, distributing mobile microphone and addressing any technical issues.
